Death:the Snowflake

The door to the Ceremony of Death may appear like a Whirling Rainbow after a destructive hurricane thru loss of loved ones, home,  job, etc. Like Changing Woman it’s faces and attitudes may morph around your own fears of the permanence of challenges, obstacles or traumas. It may solely lie in wait like the vultures of Nekbhet. Regardless what robes Death presently wears, how did it first appear and play out on your life stage? Move forward thru all subsequent death experiences until you feel the relationship to the now. For actual perpetrators of Death (whether unwitting or intentional) incorporating and rebalancing lingering emotions may be more difficult. In these cases the faces Death wears in your dreams will provide unbiased clues. With loss Death laughs you straight in the face, with fear it stalks you behind your back, so you must embrace it from it’s own direction. Everyday we all move towards fears and losses with simple intent. Whether we know it or not that is accomplished by the Decision to Love, the first threshold you crossed upon meeting your Guardian of Transitions. Now comes time to acknowledge this eternal Death shadow by presenting it with a feast of the deepest emotions/challenges separating you. Your invitation to embrace this inevitable Death companion affirms your willingness to ready yourself for it’s eventual devouring. Create your own individual representation of this “feast” gift in the form of a biodegradable item. This offering can be placed on an outdoor ancestor shrine, a newly created altar to honor those who cross over to spirit, or somewhere designated to focusing your prayers to this ally/god/goddess of Death. Once again you will know if your invitation has been accepted if a third Doorway then opens to an opportunity for conducting a Ceremony of Planetary Healing.

About dreamingmoon

I, Aurora Dreaming Moon am a Dreamer, Sister, Lover, Mother, Grandmother and sometime Writer, Poet, Artist, Musician...who at the age of 11 made my first conscious choice to seek the path of Truth by throwing a yarrow stick reading for my youthfully petulant demand of : "Tell me the purpose of life now or I'm out of here !" The spirits in all their wisdom and humour responded in kind with the complete changing hexagram : Ch'ien to K'un which I interpreted to mean "...a complete understanding of the universe ". Thus appropriately chastised, though laughingly mollified and defeated in my attempt at an easy way out, I was lovingly set back on this never ending journey we call life. I am still trying to accomplish my assignment :) What you'll find in these blogs are just sharings of some of my most heartfelt experiences along the way. May they be of service to all reader pilgrims who cross this path.
